Cheryl has a wealth of experience in senior management and leadership roles across multinational organisations and iconic Australian and New Zealand businesses such as BIG W, Woolworths Supermarkets, Marcs & David Lawrence, CAMILLA and Cerebos (Suntory).

As a well-respected People and Culture professional, she has an extensive background spanning retail, FMCG and manufacturing and as a consultant across a wide variety of sectors. She has been part of numerous executive teams and her commercial acumen, along with her deep people and culture experience, has positioned her as a key influencer and decision maker in business.

Known for her authentic relationship-building, boundless energy and ethical resolve, she navigates complex challenges with courage and insight. Her innovative solutions enable workforce engagement and deliver tangible business results.

As a parent and a wellness advocate Cheryl loves travel, exercise and her voluntary/not-for-profit work. Currently mentoring six young leaders, pro-bono also demonstrates her passion and support for female empowerment.

Career highlights include:

  • People and Culture Director at CAMILLA during their incredible growth journey and the opening of the first boutiques in the USA.
  • Group People and Communications Director at Cerebos playing the lead change role in the divestment process of the food division.
  • Head of Organisation and Talent Development for the Woolworths Group (ANZ) personally delivering an innovative Leadership Development Program for the top 200 leaders across the group
  • Lived and worked in Australia and South Africa
  • An advocate for Women’s Community Shelter and previous member of the Paramatta Women’s Shelter Board
  • A council member for Australian Human Resource Institute (AHRI) NSW
