Better Leaders. Better Future.

‘The passion and experience I bring to the Chair role comes from many years of listening, questioning, guiding and mentoring senior executives and CEOs through a variety of industry business unit and functional leadership roles across Australia, New Zealand, the UK and USA.’

Leadership experience spanning decades and several corners of the globe has shaped how Jeff Paterson mentors and facilitates his TEC groups. Leveraging his extensive expertise, Jeff works with CEOs and business leaders who want to grow successful businesses while enhancing their effectiveness as leaders.

Over 20 years, Jeff has held roles ranging from senior management through to CEO and Chairman for a number of organisations in stockbroking, investment banking, commodity trade financing, funds management and business risk analysis. His career includes 9 years with Elders XL and 18 years with Standard & Poor’s. He became CEO of Australian Ratings in 1987, which then evolved to a transfer to Standard & Poor’s head office in New York after its acquisition of AR in 1990.

Leaning on his broad knowledge and experience, Jeff established his own consultancy and project management business in 2003, focused on business operational risk management and corporate governance services.

More recently he’s shifted his focus from specific business and financial risk assignments for large organisations towards mentoring CEOs of Australian small to medium-sized businesses to help foster the next generation of Australian business leaders.

Other highlights from Jeff’s career include:
